El Teatro Americano y la organización Latinos Progresando le invita con su familia al evento titulado "SALUD: Sanando a Través de las Artes", en cual un grupo de 40 jóvenes entusiastas presentan en vivo radionavelas y telenovelas acerca de inmigración y salud.

Entre las 5:00 p.m. y 6:00 p.m. ants de que empiece el evento se dará información en las galerías del museo, lugares locales de la salud y organizaciones que se enfocan en los jóvenes.

The Hispanic Abstinence Coalition, led by the Confederation of Spanish American Families invites parents of pre-teens and teens to "La Parrillada",  a fee commynity-based event that seeks to strengthen parent communication with their children about waiting to have sex and setting goals. Through fun interactive activities, role-play, and a motivational speaker, parents will learn and share information with with other parents about the importance of talking with their kids about  waiting to have sex and the pressures adolescents face. After the program, participants will enjoy a cookout that ends with a raffle of gifts for the entire family. An entertainment area for children will be available.

The Chicago Transit Authority invites the public to a presentation on possible alternative for CTA's proposed Orange Line Extension, wich will consider transit technologies and alignments in a study area border by 59th  Street on the north, 79th Street on the south, Pulaski Road on the east, and Laramie Avenue on the west.
